Our client, a high-growth full-service general contracting firm, was lacking a cohesive way to package their diverse portfolio of branded products for their team and create a premium first day experience. We stepped in to bridge the gap between simple merchandise and a meaningful brand introduction, engineering a custom packaging solution that reflects their reputation for excellence and creative problem-solving.

The Project

Products in Search of a Story

The client had the what but not the how. They were sitting on an inventory of great branded gear, but without a vessel, the delivery felt transactional rather than welcoming and intentional. They needed a solution that could house varying quantities of existing stock while maintaining a high-end, professional aesthetic that aligned with their brand identity.

Collaborative Engineering

True to the nature of general contracting, this project required precise planning and testing out physical samples. We worked closely with the client to test various product options, sizes, and decoration methods, all ensuring that the box wasn't just beautiful, but functional. By sending out samples, we allowed their team to mock up inventory and ensure we achieved the best possible solution.

Bringing a Vision to Life

The magic happened when the client's marketing team and our design department merged their expertise. After reviewing initial concepts, the team provided feedback to fine-tune the brand narrative. Our designers then executed a custom wrap-around story for the box, using the packaging surface to showcase the company's history and mission. The result was a project that stayed within budget while exceeding expectations for brand impact.

A Custom Built Welcome Home

We delivered a fully custom, branded New Hire Kit that serves as a physical touchpoint for the company's culture. The box design features intentional graphics and story telling that tells the brand's story. Now, instead of receiving a bag of loose items, new hires are greeted with an intentional, branded kit that makes them feel like a valued part of the team and culture from day one.
