Held annually in Hawai'i, the game brings together top high school football players from across the country, many of whom go on to play at the collegiate and professional levels. But the impact goes far beyond the field.

Through its national combines and showcases in cities across the U.S. from Las Vegas to Florida, the Polynesian Bowl has expanded its reach, providing increased exposure and development opportunities for student-athletes of all backgrounds. The event proudly spotlights Polynesian excellence while fostering cultural pride, leadership, and community connection among the next generation of athletes.

The Project

The Challenge

As the Polynesian Bowl expanded its footprint beyond Hawai‘i to include national combines and showcases in locations like Florida and Las Vegas, the organization needed a trusted merchandise partner who could keep pace with its growing presence. They were looking for a team that could seamlessly manage on-site merchandise at multiple event locations, operate and fulfill orders through their official online retail storefront, and maintain consistent branding and product quality across every platform and touchpoint.

Our Approach

College Hill stepped in to provide a full-service merchandise solution that met the event’s evolving needs. Our team supported in-person events by traveling to multiple locations, setting up and managing merchandise booths to ensure attendees had access to premium, culturally aligned apparel and accessories. Behind the scenes, we also took over operations of the official Polynesian Bowl online store—handling inventory, fulfillment, and customer service to deliver a smooth and reliable shopping experience for fans across the country. Throughout the process, we worked closely with the Polynesian Bowl team to maintain brand consistency and uphold the cultural significance of the event, ensuring every product aligned with their vision and values.

The Results

Since partnering with the Polynesian Bowl, College Hill has helped significantly grow merchandise sales and improve the overall fan experience. In the first year, on-site event sales averaged around $11K per event. With strategic planning, elevated product offerings, and streamlined operations, we increased that to over $30K per event in year two. Our support has allowed the Polynesian Bowl team to focus more fully on event execution, while we manage both the on-site and online retail experience from end to end.
